Because of this, Peak Performance has searched for many years to find the best brake rotor available for cars with factory equipped high-performance brake calipers. There are many other manufacturers that offer complete brake upgrades, sacrificing an excellent factory equipped caliper because the factory rotor is not up to racing specifications. This is due to the fact that most factory rotors are a one-piece design and most brake upgrade kits use a two-piece full floating rotor. Peak Performance was in pursuit of the highest quality two-piece rotor that would enable the use of the factory Brembo calipers.
