Peak Performance's team of dedicated and experienced racers have put their heads together to design and manufacture a rod that can, in the immortal words of our fearless leader, "handle huge amounts of power". We began by using a two-piece forging for high strength and longevity. A doweled cap was necessary to ensure precision alignment for high RPM applications. We further strengthened the cap by adding ribs. This also has the benefit of increasing the rod's stability at redline. Since we didn't want anything but the best for our connecting rods, we chose ARP as our only supplier for the 3/8" high-tensile cap screws. Once the forgings are complete, our connecting rods are then test assembled, sized, and balanced to within +/- 1 gram so our customers are always guaranteed a set of matched rods.
