An often overlooked item by many of today's engine builders is the valvetrain, the valve spring in particular. Most high-performance engines today spend most of their time in the upper RPM ranges where the valve springs are placed under tremendous stress. One poor quality valve spring can prove to be devestating in a custom built engine. Why take the risk? Peak Performance has gone to great lengths to find the best valve spring created for the harshest of conditions. Our research has led us to the design and manufacturing of the most technologically advanced valve springs available. These valve springs were created for the sole purpose of endurance in the most demanding of high-RPM race engines. To ensure that our valve springs are up to the task, we employ Dynamic Fatigue Testing. DFS is a technique that utilizes some of the most advanced state-of-the-art machinery designed by the one and only name in spring technology, Eibach. We test our springs to the most exhausting limits in order to determine their fatigue point. This has allowed us to claim a life-expectancy of over 100 million cycles with some of out valve springs. Additionally, these springs utilize the same technology and manufacturing techniques used to create the valve springs in use by the Indy Racing League (IRL) and Winston Cup. No other valve spring manufacturer can even compare in technology and the material used in the creation of these springs. The material used for these valve springs is so scarce that only certain parts of the world are even able to source the metal. Peak Performance highly recommends the use of our valve springs in pure race engines and in any application where sustained valvetrain performance is vital.
