The Nissan 240SX is an excellent foundation for building a competitive race car, drag car or drift car. Its rear-wheel drive configuration and eager acceptance of Nissan's workhorse SR20DET engine make for a fearsome combination on the track. However, as many S13 owners (and most S14 owners) have realized, a 4-lug platform is very limiting for wheel choices. Further complicating matters, limited wheel choices make it difficult to set up the proper staggered wheel set up that so many racers need to stay competitive on the track. It could also prove difficult in a 4-lug set up to find "aesthetically pleasing" wheels. Since realizing this, 240SX owners have scoured junkyards across the nation in hopes of finding the necessary Nissan 5-lug components required for a successful conversion.
