A high-performance vehicle is not measured by horsepower alone. In drag racing, "as quickly as you can get there" is typically followed by the need to slow down. Being able to quickly and safely control your car's drift entry angle and speed are also critical if you plan on keeping off of the walls. That's why Peak Performance has been working with some of the braking industry's leading experts on designing and manufacturing critical braking components specifically for the import performance industry. In keeping with core value #2, we have produced brake parts which far exceed the performance of OEM parts and are comparable to some of the world's best known names in the industry.. but we've done it at a price that will allow you to "stop on a dime and still make change".. literally.
In order to find the best brakes, we carefully searched for companies that are actively racing and winning. Although Performance Friction may be new to many, they have been an industry leader for many years. Supplying brakes to top racing teams like Dale Earnhardt, Winston cup teams, and many GT cars in Japan.
Above is a picture of the PIAA/Epson car at California Speedway in December 2004. Of course they are using the PFC rotors, pads and calipers. Forgot to mention but they did come in 1st place that day. We would love to guarantee a 1st place finish if you used the PFC brakes, but that would not be possible. But you will at least know that your brakes are going to be the best!!
