Peak & Enkei Welcome The JGTC & D1 Drivers! E-mail

12/17/2004 - Peak Performance and Enkei hosted a welcome reception for all the JGTC and D1 drivers sponsored by Enkei wheels. What started as an autograph signing and welcome party, quickly ended up in an impromptu street drift contest!

Peak Performance and Enkei welcomed the JGTC and D1 drivers that arrived from Japan to compete in the JGTC and D1 race at California Speedway on December 18-19, 2004. Teams that were present at our drivers reception included Toms, Bando, Eclipse, Yokohama, HKS, RSR, and Endless. Everyone had a great time. It was a perfect opportunity for Peak Performance to get a professional driver's opinion on some of our new products. Our products were so warmly received that the drivers were quick to jump at the chance to test them on the street. It quickly escalated into an impromptu street drift contest with various drivers and teams competing against each other to see who could pull off the best street drift in front of our offices! We all had a great time and we'd like to thank Enkei, as well as all those who attended and helped to make our first inaugural Peak Performance/Enkei Drivers' Reception a blast!

More photos and video footage of our impromptu street drift contest soon!
