Peak Performance camshafts are not meant for use on public roads and are not emission legal.

Peak Performance recommends that our products be installed by an experienced and qualified automotive mechanic, using the correct tools, and in a safe environment. Please contact your local Peak Performance authorized dealers for installation services.

It is recommended that you consult the factory service manual to assist in proper installation and torque specifications of the camshafts.

Setting Suggestions:

Note: the following are settings that can help provide a basis in tuning. These are just guidelines and performance results will vary from car to car, based on the style and method of tuning that was performed as well as the type of installed performance products that are applicable.

IMPROPER INSTALLATION AND TUNING CAN RESULT IN SEVERE ENGINE DAMAGE!!!
***UPGRADED VALVE SPRINGS AND RETAINERS ARE REQUIRED!!***

Specifications:
Intake:   Duration:  255° @ 0.05in   Lift:  .496in
Exhaust: Duration:  256° @ 0.05in   Lift:  .494in
(DO NOT INCREASE LOBE SEPERATION)

Valve settings:
Intake:  0.008 in 
Exhaust:  0.009 in
(set on cold motor)

Cam gear settings:
Intake:  +1° - +2 °
Exhaust:  0°

Fuel pressure settings:
+3 to +5 PSI (stock is approximately 48-52PSI) 

Ignition timing settings:
Set to 16° to 17° (advanced)

DO NOT use over-sized valves!! Check piston to valve clearance!! High performance cams will put higher stresses on valve train which will cause faster wear!

AGAIN, THESE ARE JUST RECOMMENDATIONS. SPECIFIC TUNING WILL VARY FROM CAR TO CAR, SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A TRAINED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN PERFORM THE INSTALLATION AND TUNING OF PEAK PERFORMANCE CAMSHAFTS
