New Look - Falken Blue/Green Being part of the Falken Team for 2007 meant that we needed to roll the Falken colors. So look for our same car, but in the Falken Blue/Green color scheme. Although we'll be blending in with the rest of the Falken Team, look for the Nissan 240SX S14 with the crazy entry speeds making more smoke than a Korean night club. New Driver - Robbie Nishida v2.0 No, we didn't literally get a new driver.. and even if we wanted to, it would've been kind of messed up since we got Robbie a "Peak Performance" tattoo on his chest one night while he was drunk. But Robbie has been practicing during the off-season in Japan. He even had the opportunity to get some more seat time in the Q Racing/Peak Performance 240SX S14 this year when he lied to his family and told them they were going to spend two weeks at Disneyland. What he really meant was, they would be spending two weeks NEAR Disneyland. Yes, he's that hard core. Currently seeded #16, Robbie will have a guaranteed opportunity to put on a show at this year's Formula Drift season opener in Long Beach on Saturday 04/07/07. So yeah, Robbie Nishida will be our driver this season, but we call him a "new" driver because of the transformation he has undergone this past year.. kind of like a caterpillar to a butterfly.. coal to diamonds.. EG Honda Civic D16Z to EG Honda Civic H22A.. well, you get the picture. New Season - 2007 This year, Formula Drift has a lot going on. We'll be on the road most of the season bringing the drifting experience to a location near you. As we continue to fine tune our car and test out new parts (many of which we design and manufacture ourselves), we get a little bit more confident that we'll be that much closer to a podium finish. As mentioned above, we'll be debuting the new color scheme and a few new toys at Long Beach on 4/8/07. We've also been invited to drift in the Long Beach Grand Prix exhibition during the LBPG race weekend of 4/15-4/16. Stay tuned for continued updates. And lastly, thank you to all of our loyal supporters and the constant flow of encouraging emails. And yes, girls (and that one boy), Robbie is taken.
Pictures to follow shortly
