Peak Performance was founded on the fact that there are gaps or missing and incomplete product lines that do not fit the needs of the import performance industry. Through this vision, we created our core values, which we hope will allow us to best serve the interests of the import performance industry: WE WILL FOCUS ON THE NEEDS OF OUR CUSTOMERS Too often has a manufacturer claimed to be a part of the import performance industry, only to manufacture products using "old school" methodology and lack of technology. Too often have we, the enthusiasts and racers, been forced into using these products due to a lack of viable alternatives. Too often have we been forced into making these products fit our needs with lackluster results. So we at Peak Performance have taken it upon ourselves to do what most other manufacturers have failed to do: supply where there is demand. By keeping close ties to the import performance industry, through our media contacts and direct participation, we can focus on designing and manufacturing products that you need for your car. After all, necessity is the mother of invention. Peak Performance's first contribution to the industry was our ground-breaking gas-nitrided import piston rings designed specifically for the needs of a high-performance import engine. Our team of engineers, designers, and real world racers are constantly researching and designing highly sought after parts for the import performance industry, satifying your needs so you can focus on winning. WE WILL PRODUCE THE BEST PRODUCTS AT BEST PRICE The import performance landscape is littered with manufacturers who chose to produce products at the "extremities". Extremities being, "high quality at a high cost" or "low quality at a low cost". Peak Performance recognized this and realized that there exists a middle-ground where no manufacturer resides. In producing our line of specialty multi-link suspension products, we realized we could produce a better product at a better price than our Japanese competitors. We were able to do this through our direct participation in import events in our own backyard, greatly decreasing our time-to-market and research and development. Additionally, we realized we could produce a product superior to our Chinese and Taiwanese competitors at a similar price point. We are able to do this because we work direct with most of our manufacturers. We do not have to rely on multiple layers of money hungry middlemen and importers/exporters to increase the costs of our products. The result? You get the best part at the best price. WE WILL THRIVE ON INNOVATION, NOT IMITATION It seems like everyday another manufacturer appears, shouting the promise of new and innovative products. And everyday the import performance industry makes room for just another imitator. By truly creating innovative, revolutionary AND evolutionary products, we hope to actually bring something to the import performance industry that is worth shouting about. An example of this lies in one of our contributions to the import performance market, the famed Peak Performance Nissan S13/S14 Subframe Bushings. The only options within the industry were aluminum and Japanese urethane bushings. Aluminum, although very stiff, was very loud and uncomfortable, transfering any and all vibrations and noise into the cockpit. Additionally, they were hard to install because you had to drop the subframe. Japanese manufacturers had created a urethane bushing, but still, it required that the subframe be removed. So Peak Performance began offering the stiffest urethane bushings we could find, but with an innovative "slice" through the bushing for easy installation and great noise and vibration absorption. Our racers confirmed that our bushings provided all the benefits of a urethane bushing, without the added time and labor. And we did it all at a price 50-75% cheaper than all of our competitors. |
